Here is my model of the Discovery XD1 from the movie 2001: a space odyssey. The model is made by Moebius and is in 1/144 scale. I've also added lighting and photo-etch for a little extre punch. So far it has gone together well – a lot of the appearence will be from the paint job as it is all white with grey highlights.

Today I took the time to take some better pictures of the finished 1/100 HMS Victory with a nice backdrop and my best camera.
This is page 0 (zero), page 1, page 2, and page 3 docuement the build and convey a lot of pictures along the way.
I have provided a link here to the build video of my 1/100 scale model of HMS Victory that I finished in June of 2017. The model is produced by Heller and is 39 inches long by 27 inches high. The video runs about 10 minutes.
